Dafoe played Norman Osborn (also known as the Green Goblin) in 2002’s Spider-Man, the deadly nemesis to Tobey Maguire's web-slinger.
On the other hand, DeHaan plays Harry Osborn, the equally evil son of Norman, in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. He is the second character to assume the Green Goblin alias after his father.
It seems that the third installment of Tom Holland's Spider-Man film series is very keen on bringing back the previous legacy stars in the franchise.
The father and son supervillains are reportedly in talks to reprise their roles and join other A-listers in Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3
We already knew that Jamie Foxx would be reprising his role as Electro, and a few days ago, we reported about Alfred Molina's confirmation to return as Doctor Octopus.

Now, more villains are returning in the form of not just one but two Green Goblins played by Dafoe and DeHaan.
Insider Daniel Richtman claimed that both Dafoe and DeHaan are on their way to reprise their roles as father and son villainous duo, We Got This Covered reports.
According to Richtman, both actors are currently in talks about reprising their roles, but no official signing has happened yet.
Richtman has an impressive record of getting things right, so it is impossible to ignore him every time he spills inside information.
Following the report, Richtman tweeted:
"Welp, we finally have our Norman Osborn in the MCU, and it's Defoe again!"
